GB Capital Recognized with IDC CIO Digital Excellence Award for Digital Innovation

GB Capital was recognized as a winner of the IDC CIO Digital Excellence Award, in recognition of its digital transformation efforts across its automotive and mobility businesses.

The award followed GB Capital’s submission highlighting two key digital initiatives: the GB Auto Rental website and booking engine, and Phase 1 of the Fleet Management System for cars.

As part of the evaluation process, IDC assessed both projects against a range of criteria, including technical requirements, project scope, project management, and delivery timelines. The jury also conducted a live assessment of the GB Auto Rental booking engine through the rental website, allowing them to evaluate the platform firsthand.

Following the comprehensive evaluation, IDC’s jury selected GB Capital among the winners of the IDC Digital Excellence Award, recognizing the projects’ successful implementation and contribution to advancing digital capabilities and customer experiences within the automotive rental and fleet management space.

The award was presented during the IDC Digital Excellence Award ceremony on 29 April at the Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo, where GB Capital received the award trophy in recognition of the successful delivery of these initiatives.

The achievement reflects the strong collaboration between teams across GB Capital, bringing together technology, business, and marketing expertise to develop and deliver impactful digital solutions.
